Accepting aviators since 1911, Ranger Airfield is a living example of our past, but keeping Ranger open is not possible without people like you.

When it became clear the town of Ranger, Texas could not afford to preserve the airfield, Ranger Airfield Foundation stepped up.

The Airfield is mowed, maintained, promoted, preserved and directed entirely by volunteers and donations.

Fly-In & Airshow No.17

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we try not to forget to have a little fun along the way. And when we decide to party it's something we take seriously.

Old School No.17 takes place the first weekend in October, be sure to join us!

...in a 1927 Travel Air 4000! Jared Calvert acquired "Old Sport" in 2015 to better serve the mission of preserving Ranger Airfield. A large portion of ride proceeds goes directly to the airfield's hangar project. Take a ride in a Travel Air!
